SPOT LLC only posts the most recent 7 days worth of data.\u00a0In other words, if the embedded map is empty, I probably have not had the SPOT device turned on in the last 7 days.<\/p>\n<p>Like all GPS devices, the SPOT requires clear access to the sky, which may be blocked by trees or canyon walls. During a trip a lack of updates does not mean we are in trouble. Sometimes satellites are not accessible, or I forget to push the transmit OK button. These updates are for your entertainment. Please do not panic.
